I have a similar model rebadge Kitchen aid which lasted 10 years at settings 160-165 degF. I was about to repair it but I noticed there is some corrosion near the tank seams and the parts cost 40 bucks. So I opted to this similar model with the same configuration connectors from my old one, which took me 30 min. to install. I set it up to 165 deg about 3/4 around or at 3 o clock, temp 165 degF checked with laser thermometer. At this temperature is to my liking with my tea and cooking, plus it prevent from boiling steam to the spout. This is the cheapest I found from Amazon vendor, the shipping is free and fast. I have this for about a month now with no problem and constant hot water whenever I needed. Very happy with this purchase.
