A I have used the WSS-1 for several years on our Samsung model FRG297AABP. We buy them by the dozen, never had a problem. Just make sure you lube the two washers and follow the installation instructions. Good luck!

A Yes, I purchased this filter back in August 2012 and they work perfect...and much less expensive.
