The Valumax Fleck FM-1.0-5600FC-CARBON 1.0CUFT 5600FC RT 9x48 Backwashing Carbon Filter System features 1" distributor with Upper Basket, control valve, resin tank, GAC carbon, funnel, and a time clock control that is easy to set and read. It efficiently reduces a bulk of sediments at its entry-point.

Q DOES THIA FILTER WORK FOR A FAMILY OF 4? DOES IT NEED ANY TYPE OF MAINTENENCE OR CLEANING? DO I NEED TO BUY SALT OR ANYTHING ELSE? WHAT IS THE GURANTEEE WARRANTY? WOULD I HAVE ALKALINE WATER? IS IT POSSIBLE FOR THEIR TO BE INFORMATION IN SPANISH?

A The one cubic foot unit size is good for approx. 3-5 gallons per minute flow rate. A 1.5 cubic foot size unit would give approx. 5 - 9 gpm. These units are not sized by # of people, but the plumbing in the home. Carbon will need to be replaced after approx 5 years, no other maintenance required. Salt is not required for this system only Carbon which is included. This system comes with a 5 year warranty. No this will not give you alkaline water. This unit is designed to remove chlorine, improve taste and remove color and odor from the water supply. I'm sorry but I am unable to locate a brochure for you in Spanish at this time.
