This automatic carbon filter is recommended to provide whole house filtration of chlorine, taste and odor, chemical contaminants, as well as dirt and sediments.

25SXT-2.5-C40 has a peak flow rate of up to 10 GPM and a service flow of up to 8 GPM. It will not reduce water flow in a home with 4 bathrooms. The carbon bed inside the tank should be replaced every 3-5 years. Sediment filters are not required because the filter backwashes itself clean of sediments every week. A computer-controlled Fleck 5600 SE backwashing control valve makes this system maintenance free for the owner.
