Q What kind of filtration system is used in this product? Carbon? KDF copper-zinc alloy filters? I like the color and style, but want to know if the filter will eliminate clorine and other contaminates. Thank you, Simone
A It has a changeable insert with charcoal in it. Ir removes chlorine quite well which was the main reason I got it. Also it doesn't have to be changed as often as many others.

Q where do you get filter replacements?
A Have not purchased the replacement filter yet.
A I used to buy them in my local food coop but don't live there any more. I'm sure you can find them online. I haven't had to replace it since I moved here. One reason why I went with this one is because the filter doesn't have to be changed that often.

Q does it look ugly after hard water runs through it? How do you change the filter?
A where do I get filter replacements?
A They have a twist on/ twist off to change out the filter, much like changing a light bulb. Since the filter media is actually inside, they don't get ugly looking after time. The filters last one year.
