Q What size is this?
A It fits on standard size shower stems and does have standard size male threads. The actual filter cartridge is 2 1/2" diameter x 2 3/4" long. and the overall length of the housing is 4 1/2" long.
A It fits on a standard size shower stem and has standard size male threads coming out the out-flow so that you can re-use your old showerhead on the filter. We live in a dry climate and the city tap water contributes to drier skin due to the way chlorine works. My wife loves the benefits of having this filter to mitigate the chlorine's action, leaving her skin without the irritability caused by chlorine-linked dryness.
