WHIRLPOOL 4396508 WATER FILTER IS THE SAME

PUR Quarter Turn Replacement Filter QTSS. Replaced regularly, PUR water filters reduce contaminants to provide clean, fresh tasting water and ice. Does not remove beneficial fluoride from drinking water.

Reduces:

Lead.
Chlorine taste and odor for better tasting water.
Sediment for cleaner water.
P-Dichlorobenzene - linked to anemia and liver, kidney or spleen damage.
Benzene - linked to increased risk of cancer and anemia.

This filter fits:

All Whirlpool home appliances with a Quarter Turn in-grille filter.
All Kitchenaid home appliances with a Quarter Turn in-grille filter.
All other Whirlpool manufactured brands with a Quarter Turn in-grille filter.

Compatible with refrigerators that accept part numbers:

4396510, 4396548, 9010, 4396508, 4396547

*Filter performance and contaminant removal varies by refrigerator. Consult manufacturer's performance data sheet to determine the specific contaminants removed by your refrigerator. Flow rate of this filter in FAST FILL or PUR MEASURE dispensing may not be optimal.

Replace every 6 months.

Reduces the following contaminants:

Lead
Chlorine taste & odor
Sediment for cleaner water
Dichlorobenzene
Benzene
Does NOT remove beneficial Flouride

After turning off icemaker, rotate old filter counterclockwise and pull out.
Remove Grille Cap by sliding it off the end of the filter.
Reinstall Grille Cap on replacement filter.
Remove and dispose of protective shipping cap.
Insert new filter in refrigerator with cartridge cap in vertical position.
Rotate filter clockwise to horizontal position.
Run water for 2-3 minutes to flush filter.
Turn on icemaker.

Replace filter every 6 months or when filter replacement light indicates. Filter life may vary depending on use and local water conditions.
