Question & Answers

Q i cannot get this removed when i turn till it stops and pull down any ideas?????
A Solution #1 Threads stuck: If the filter still does not eject from the refrigerator when typical efforts are applied, the threading inside of the filter housing may have gotten stuck. Use a hair dryer on low pointed at the filter housing to warm up the housing slightly, which may allow the threads to soften and bend somewhat. Then turn the filter counterclockwise slightly and pull out to remove. Solution #2 Water Pressure Issue Increase Water Pressure may be holding the filter in position if all other efforts have failed. Try turning the water in the kitchen sink on high and then turn and pull the filter out. This works by releasing some of the current water pressure in the refrigerator by diverting the water to the kitchen sink. If this method and all others have failed, however, the assembly may be broken and service will be needed.
