A GE has become proprietary in the sale of their products. Most items you will need to purchase from them directly. Once we are able to obtain product from GE we will update our site.
Q how ofter should the osmosis membrane be changed? Also, how ofter should the pre and post fileters be changed?
A The recommended time frame for the pre and post filters is every 6 months. The membrane typically lasts up to a year.

A Here are the quick and dirty specifications. There is no specific reference to Giardia. However, Giardia is a cyst and the system is specified to remove 99.99% of cysts. Q New residence with PXRQ15F system installed. Don't know when the system was last used so how should I proceed with the system's service?
A That is a tricky question as we do not know much about the system and whether it functions properly still. If you think that it works, then the first thing to do would be to change the filters and membrane. For more information about the system you have, we were able to locate an Owner's Manual for you.
