Replace the Everpure H-300 cartridge (EV9270-72 or EV9270-71) yearly to reduce the following contaminants:
  • Lead to below the Federal Action Level of 15 ppb 
  • Cysts such as Giardia lamblia, Entamoeba histolytica and Cryptosporidium parvum 
  • Volatile Organic Chemicals (VOCs), including THMs 
 
The H-300 cartridge features:
  • A bacteriostat agent to combat the growth and reproduction of bacteria within the cartridge to prevent premature clogging 
  • A 1/2 gallon per minute flow rate 
  • A 300-gallon capacity

Q I read reviews online that said if their system was old that the new filter cartridges leaked. Does this mean I need to replace the whole system?
A Changing the cartridges can cause wear and tear on the heads. If you replace the cartridge and it leaks you will need to make sure first that you don't have a defective cartridge. If you have ruled that out than it may be time to replace your system. As with anything...some last longer than others.
Q is it a brand new filter or reused?
A It is a brand new filter.
